Description:

This is our last round of the traveling letter swap series. Sad, I know, but I've had quite a few people drop out, and it's just not working out the way I had hoped. Oh well! Here's what you'll need to do. This round will be, of course, different from the previous rounds.

  1. Whatever traveling letter you have in your possession from a previous round, please send it home to it's originator, along with the letters attached. Adding your own letter to the batch will be optional.

  2. To your partner, please email a picture of your letters that you're sending home, along with the stamped envelope. This is just to ensure that you (a) actually send it and (b) have something to be rated for.

Make sense? If not, post your question below, or PM me directly. Also, of course, this swap is open ONLY to those who have been in the swap in previous rounds. Most, if not all, of you should be getting a PM from me telling you that this last round is up.

Is it OK if I write a letter to my partner with a small surprise? At least then the partner will be getting something meaningful to rate as there is no guaranty that they will receive their letters back if people have dropped out.

I too would prefer to add a small profile surprise as I can't seem to figure out how to upload pics to my email from my phone and that is my only camera. I can send with a tracking number so they know letters were sent.

On my side , I agree with teacher and tranplanted1.. i would prefer to send a letter or/and a smll surprise to my partner.. if not , it would be better fo me to leave the swap and to send back home with a letter , theletter i have here to sen back home.. we are so few to continue that it's sure , some original letters won't come back home

I still haven't received a letter from the last round, what should i do?

Hollycarole92 03/30/2014 #

Yeah, if you guys want to send a letter to your partner you are more than welcome to, but it won't be required. @transplanted1 You do have to show your partner some proof that you sent the letter, so if a tracking number is the only way you can do that, then that's fine.

Hollycarole92 I just tried to send a lightweight pkg, letter size that fit in an envelope and to track was $40. This will cost more. I will not join swap and will just send letters to their owner.

I just want to mail the letter back, then. Instead of waiting for the swap. April seems like a long wait. Can I just mail it back, if the originator is fine with it?

Whops, I thought this was a 2016 swap, didn't realize it was a 2014 swap!
