Description:

My taste in books seems to be pretty varied lately, and I'm always curious to hear a little bit about what other people are reading.

Here's the idea: you'll have a look at your assigned partners profile to get a sense of who they are and what interests them. You'll then choose a postcard based on their profile. Next, you'll have a glance through a book that you're reading and find an interesting quote/ passage that you'll copy onto the back of the postcard. Make sure that you also include the title and author of your book somewhere on the postcard so that your partner can locate it if they feel like they may want to read more of it.

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; please note that if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. Similarly, if you have a 1 rating and have not made an effort to follow through on the swap owing to your partner (especially if they are still an active member of the site), I will likely ask that you do this before participating in any of my swaps. Newbies must have a well filled out profile before joining this swap.

I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that my swaps remain flaker-free.

Can postcards be hand made?

@AnitaHames since this is a profile-based swap, you will want to check your assigned partners profile first. If they enjoy handmade postcards (I personally love them, but I can't speak for everyone), then you're more than welcome to send one to them. Thanks for your question!
