Description:

One of my favourite things about receiving postcards is hearing something about the sender, which is what inspired me to create this swap.

Here's the idea: for each swap, I will provide a writing prompt or idea, which you will consider when sending your postcard to your swap partner. This prompt might bring up a memory, a feeling or even a conversation that you overheard today in the grocery store. You're free to write as much or as little as you like, as long as it in some way relates to the prompt.

This months prompt: Write about one holiday tradition that is meaningful to you. This might be something that you remember from your childhood, something that you've just started doing as an adult, or something that you would like to incorporate into your holiday traditions in future. This might be a tradition from any wintertime holiday, including (but not limited to) Chanukah, Christmas, Solstice, Kwanzaa, New Years, etc.

Postcards should be chosen with consideration towards the receivers preferences; whether you send your cards naked (without an envelope) or in an envelope is completely up to the sender.

Newbies are welcome with well-filled out profiles only.

I will be checking participants profiles and ratings thoroughly before assigning partners; please note that if you are currently showing as late on any swaps I will request that you follow through on those before participating in this swap. I have also placed a fairly high automatic rating requirement on this swap in an effort to encourage a safe and fun swapping experience for us all. Please note that I do angel all of my swaps, although I will make every possible effort to ensure that questionable swappers are kept out. Late sends or flaking on any of my swaps will affect your ability to participate in my swaps in future.
