Description:

Handmade envelopes are beautiful! They are also a great way to reuse that incredible piece of paper that you don't want to throw away!

For this swap, you will create two envelopes. One you will addressed and stamped, the other will be put inside it and sent to your partner for their use. These envelopes should be at least note card sized, and be made from paper that will withstand the postal service. Please also include a nice note to your partner, which should also include your swap bot user name and then name of this swap

A good way to make envelopes is to start by finding one that you like the shape and size of. Gently take it apart at the seams, then lay in on a piece of card stock (or other similarly thick material) and trace it. After cutting it out, you have a re-useable envelope template! You can also google envelope templates to find one that you like.

Please, if you have any concerns or questions, feel free to pm me.

Wallpaper or old calendar pages are great materials to make envelopes from. Especially wallpaper stands up to the abuse of being mailed very well.

Thanks for adding that @dogluvr I also use scrapbook paper and sometimes paper bags.
