Description:

Everyone has a beat-up old paperback sitting around. It was a good book, but you don't think you'll read it again. You could sell it...but the used bookstore isn't going to give you much. It seems like more hassle than it's worth. Maybe you could just give it to someone... Hey, we're someones!

This month it's mystery and crime. Nancy Drew, Kinsey Milhone, Sherlock Holmes, Stephanie Plum, Kay Scarpetta, Temperance Brennan, Hardy Boys, Kensey and Gennaro...you get the point

So, pick a paperback. Sender's choice. Doesn't matter what the subject is so long as it's mystery/crime. Although be polite and don't send something your partner hates. It doesn't matter how beat up it is either so long as it meets three criteria:

1.All the pages are present

2.The spine is intact

3.It's legible

One partner, one book. Limited to the US for frugality. Newbies welcome with filled out profile and recent activity.

What if the only mystery/suspense books we own are beat up... hard covers? Should I then sit this one out and wait for the next round?

Redcovey 07/16/2013 #

No, that's fine. Paperbacks are cheaper to send and far more common, but if you have a hard cover and can afford the postage, then go for it!

Oke, awesome. :D I just wanted to make sure. I recently purged a lot of my books because I moved, so the only books I've found that would suit this are hardcovers. :P
