Description:

Don't know what about you, but I'm a language freak! I love studying them and am always open for learning something new. If you do, too, here's a swap that should be lots of fun for you!

What you're supposed to do is: 1/ Write a letter about yourself in your native language. Write who you are and where you are from, what your hobbies are, what you enjoy... It can be anything, really. You know, like a regular introduction letter. It has to be not less than two A4 (regular copy paper) pages. I mean PAGES. This is a sheet of paper back and front. Just to make it clear.

EDIT: Due to people being unpleased by this point, I decided to change it a bit: from now on, you ARE allowed to use symbols familiar to your language. In other words, welcome Cyrillic, kanji and all other non-Latin alphabets!

2/ Write a translation of your letter in English. There is no amount limit, because of course a translation can turn out to be longer or shorter than the original text.

3/ Include a list of words in your language (written in CAPITAL LETTERS, so that there's no doubt it was an O, not A) with translations in English. You have to write all of the compulsory words + 20 additional ones of your choice; they can be taken from your letter but don't have to. This gives a list of 30 words.

The compulsory words: hello / a letter / a language / your country's name / your language's name / July (since it's the month you write in) / summer / the Sun / the Moon / a cat.

This is NOT a pen pal swap. So don't ramble if you don't get replied.

Because of this swap's conditions, I'm forced to say bye-bye to everyone who speak English only. You all see it wouldn't make sense for you to participate D: Also, to avoid a situation when a person gets a letter in their own language, which is potentially uninteresting, I am setting a limit of one person per language. As soon as you join, please write the language of your choice in comment section. First come, first served.

I reserve the right to ban anyone who I have slightest doubts about. Newbies welcome, but with well filled-out profiles, so that I can see you are really willing to participate in this website and didn't register just to occupy the username you like. No unexplained 1s or 3s in last six months. No more than three 1s in your whole career, I don't want to risk losing participants just because they don't trust you and don't want to have you as a partner.

Please rate 5 if the letter was sent to you on time and fulfilled all the conditions. Don't underrate because of stupid reasons (I dun liek teh language et caetera). And rate always, because this makes a fair trade for someone else's work.

I will angel if needed. Only ask me for this if you did your best to solve the problem but there were no effects. Also, please understand it MIGHT take some time before I manage to prepare and send the angel letters.

!!! Happy swapping !!!

PS. I might host this swap more than once in future if there's interest, so I'd be grateful for your proposals - more/less time, more partners... Such things.

I deleted all the comments apart from those with languages chosen, to make it easier for others to check the list.
