Description:

This is a USA only swap just to keep the cost low. Please read as this swap has changed a little bit.

You will send 4 teabags to 2 different swappers (8 teabags in total). Please make it a variety and not send all the same to one person.

Loose leaf is fine for this swap if your partner says it is fine with them. Also no-envelope teas are fine if your partner says it is fine.

When you sign up, please put a comment below stating what teas you don't like and/or what you would prefer to get. If you don't, it MUST be in your profile. If neither is done by the time I assign partners, I WILL ban you from the swap.

Please put a note with the swap name and your user name into the package.

NO newbies this time around. The only flakers I have had were newbies on this swap so I will not allow them on this swap again.

You must have a 4.97 rating or higher rating to join this swap. Any questionable/suspicious 3s will be banned as well as any recent no-sends (within the past 2 months).

I do go through everyone's profile shortly after you sign up but do not ban until right before partners are assigned.

I will Angel if I have to, that is after you have tried contacting your partner and you still had to rate them a one.

Looseleaf and no-envelope teas are fine with me, but please tell me what they are. I don't drink breakfast teas, but that's my only request. All other teas are fine with me. :)

ladyofunicorns 06/18/2013 #

@natasha838 Looseleaf is tea that is not in a teabag at all. Most of the time it is whole leaves or only partially broken and it is sold in bulk. No-envelope is they are in a teabag but it isn't marked - like celestial seasonings.

Hope that helps!

I am pretty easy. I like looseleaf and no-envelope teas as well as teabags. I love all teas. I prefer fruity ones, flavoured black and chai. :)

oooOoo i like this swap! the other tea swaps don't allow unwrapped or loose leaf. i have some good teas that come in tins but they are only in filters without wrappings. i do have enough wrapped in other varieties if my partners don't prefer those though. am watching until closer to date.

@mesmire I used to work at this one place where we all drank loose leaf. It was fun trying everyone's different teas. :)

Any tea is fine with me, loose leaf and no envelopes are fine too although enveloped tea bags are preferred. I enjoy chai tea, fruity tea, tea with ginger, green tea and detox tea. I'm not a fan of chocolate flavored tea. But ill try anything !!! :)

I like most teas, not fond of the plain black teas, but if they have a flavor added I like them, same goes with green tea. Like roobios, white, herbal. Loose is fine, as long as you tell me what it is and if it is decaf or not.

Gaelan 07/ 5/2013 #

I'm a pretty basic tea drinker- I prefer black and green teas that do not have fruit in them. I love Earl Grey types of tea, as well as "breakfast" teas- like English or Irish Breakfast.

I also like herbal teas, especially if they have mint in them. Not a big fan of licorice tho. :)

And loose or in bags is fine with me- I don't have a strong preference for one or the other. :)

I'd prefer non-fruity teas, but don't worry about it if those are the only kind you have.

Loose leaf and no-envelope teas are fine by me so long as you mention what kind they are! :)

mesmire 07/ 7/2013 #

I love all varieties of tea. i really love green the most though. or fermented green (like oolong). i don't have preferences on wrapped/unwrapped. i love me some loose leaf though. and anything w/ spices is right up my alley (or florals) vanilla, chai, jasmine, ginger, etc etc. can't wait!!!!

All Tea is fine by me :) I have a preference for fruity but I'll try anything once. Loose leaf is fine by me.

I like tea in any form (loose, unmarked, whatever)! I like everything except tea with chamomile or spearmint flavors. I also already have a lot of plain black teas, such as English/Irish breakfast, so I'd prefer something more uncommon if you have it!

benevolentghost 07/ 9/2013 #

No loose leaf for me, please. Anything else is fine, as long as it's labeled! I especially love anything apple, cranberry, chai, or vanilla, though. I don't care too much for citrus teas and would prefer not to get them if possible.

feverfawn 07/10/2013 #

I'd prefer no loose leaf tea and in an envelope, but no envelope is fine if it's labeled so I know what it is!

I like black, green, and white tea in most varieties, and also fruity flavors too. Plain breakfast teas are fine, but I'd love something a little more unusual.

I DO NOT like any type of chai, anything with jasmine, or anything considered "spicy" or very "floral".

mrsheatherbush 07/12/2013 #

I prefer no loose leaf. I love chai of any variety, LOVE cinnamon, black teas. dont mind floral teas.

natasha838 07/13/2013 #

I realized I was unclear in my comment above. I know what looseleaf/unwrapped teas are, what I meant was that I would like my partner to please label these if sending them so I know what flavor I am drinking. Sorry for the confusion. :)
