Description:

I love getting decorated envelopes in my mailbox. It's one of my favorite swaps to hostess.

If you do also, then sign up for my Decorated an Envie with PURPLE!

The envelope can be any size but decorate it anyway you would like with drawings, glitter, stamps, stickers, whatever. You are the artist! I beg you to spend some time on sending something you would like to pull out of the mailbox and only join if you intend on doing that.

You don't have to be a great artist, I know I am not and I use stickers but I enjoy creating and putting my best effort forward. It can be done!

USA only but if you want to make an international one, be my guest! Let's have some fun and spread some cheer decorated envie-style!

Sorry but I won't be able to angel any longer so please only sign up if you know that you can do this swap and send your partner something. If you are willing to angel someone, please put your name in comment box.

Common Questions:

What is a decorated envie?

It is an addressed envelope with a postage stamp on it but all around the front of the envelope is decorations around the theme. The envelope is not naked any longer!

I also write on the front the name of the swap.

Back side is optional.

You do not have to make the envelope.

You cannot make an envelope out of a calendar page for the decoration.

The envelope is sent through the mail so the post office, the mailman and then your swap partner sees the decorations.

A heart is given by your partner if they are pleased by your work. You do not have to put anything inside the envelope except for the name of the swap but it is always nice to include some cheer.

Last but not least, join my Decorated Envie Group! Find it on my profile page. :)

THANK YOU!!!

You are the host and I will respect what you say....

Can we not have the swap name and user name on the front?

I think it would detract from the art work.

If we could put it on the plain back to on a sheet of paper It would make it keep the art work as the show piece. If you are wanting it l mentioned on fro for journals, then I understand, but a person could tape the username and swap name underneath.

Like I said the swap is yours and I will respect your decision.

I'm sorry but I don't really understand your question, fawnscrafts. You are decorating an envelope and sending it through the mail. The partner's name and address has to be on the front with the stamp. Of course people are welcome to put their particulars inside the envelope if they choose. :)

I think I understand Fawnscrafts question. Your swap instructions make it sound like we have to put the swap name, and your swap bot ID on the front.

Do we have to?
