Description:

If you want to know the reasons/background for my series of quests: CLICK HERE. After sharing our dream jobs, favourite perfumes, wishes for the improvement and stickers, lets send letter on a postcard!

THE FIFTH QUEST is: ENVIE ON A POSTCARD.

Take small envelope (example: half size of the postcard) and glue it on the postcard. Write a letter, put it in the envelope and seal the envelope. You can decorate it as you wish. The task for the letter is: What do you do when you cannot sleep (what other activities do you deal with)? What helps you to fall a sleep when you cannot easily fall a sleep? Any advice or just moaning will be OK. :)

If possible, choose postcard which matches your text or envelope. You can prepare your postcard and text before partner is assigned. Personally, I would prefer naked postcard. Ask your partner what he/she would like.

Selfish reason behind this quest is that I think sending letters "in" the postcard is kinda cool. And I have problems with sleeping. Lately, it became real problem. Sometimes I cannot do anything but waiting to fall a sleep. Sometimes I clean entire house. :)

In short:

  • Choose 1 postcard and write you experience with insomnia or what generally helps you to fall of sleep
  • Put your letter in little envelope and paste envelope on the postcard
  • 1 partner
  • Newbies welcome, 4.97 for the old gang

Let the Quest Begin!

[btw, I have some sort of disgraphy + I am not English native speaker so sorry for the grammar. I might change description (read: typos) while swap is open.]

Good challenge swap. I will give this some thought.

Question, we do need to probably make the envelope or can a store bought one be used, as long as it is some what smaller than the post card correct?

Or does half the size of the postcard be a hard fast rule?

I am thinking about a note card envelope that a used card came in, but the envelope is clean.

Hi, here are my thoughts. :) - envelope can be whatever you choose (handmade, store bought...) - half size was just an example, not a rule - notecard is great choice

Hi there!I hope this swap doesn't get cancelled, even if we only have a handful of participants!!! I love the idea of an envelope piggy-backing on a postcard, it's brilliant . I am already working on mine, ideas anyway....

One more question. Can we add tape, at least to the edges of the envelope to give it more staying power?

fawnscrafts 05/15/2013 #

Oops more questions, we put the envelope on the front of the postcard and address the postcard correct? Or does it matter?

Ankica 05/16/2013 #

Bigmamabird, no way it is going to be cancelled. :) I am happy you like the idea. Fawnscrafts, absolutely, you do whatever you think it is best to keep envied safe. :) I was thinking that the envelope goes to the place where you would usually put text - so, left from the address. Front side stays as usual. That's why I mentioned "half size" in description. :)
