Description:

The swap idea is stolen from @jukejan and then from @Fatherted

These are super fun to make and super easy as well. Believe me, they are addicting especially if you are a stamp-a-holic.

We will make master board pieces.

You can use these pieces for many different things but since this is a card group, these will help you set a foundation for your cards.

First check out the links for reference only:

  • Simply take an 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock or something thicker and cut it into FOUR pieces AFTER you have stamped your paper. Make sure to stamp all over your paper and don't worry about how it will look once it is cut. You'll be amazed at how neat they will turn out. Try to make each piece as equal as possible and please cut as neatly as possible. Use a paper cutter if you have one!

  • Your cardstock or other paper CAN be watercolored or colored. It does not have to only be white, think outside the box or stay cozy in it.

  • You MUST use THREE different stamps and THREE different colored inks. You can use more than three of each, but three is the minimum. ANY stamps and any colors as long as there is a minimum of three of each;)

  • If your standard paper is a bit smaller or larger than USA's paper, it's ok to use those and still do the same thing.

  • You will have two partners to send SIX pieces of master boards too. Try to send a variety, not just six pieces of one stamped paper---2 of each design is ok, but no more than two of each. Once you start, you'll find you want to keep going. You can send more than six if you like.

  • Master boards are to be senders choice. However, you should always check profiles and think about sending master boards that might cater to your partner's likes because they may be making cards with them.

  • FINALLY, be a good rubber stamper and do good rubber stamping. Use good fresh ink, make sure each stamp or at least the majority of them look good on paper, etc. No sloppy stamping!

Questions? PM me or ask here in the discussion;)

PS: The example image is one that I made, to give you an idea! Do not copy, make your own!!

I would love some US only versions of these Master Board swaps! Awesome idea!

@MissPaula it really is inexpensive to do these internationally. You only pay less than two dollars because it is flat, mostly. However feel free to copy and paste this and host it or I will soon! PM me if necessary!

Love this swap idea, I'm in! And if I can make a wish (though none was asked for :-) I' love to receive stamped sentiments in the master boards, because 'thank you' and 'happy birthday' are almost the only text stamps in my box.

@RiittaR These are super fun! You'll get addicted! I hope your partners read this so that they can send you sentiments!
