Description:

Hello everybody!

I'm sure there are some people in this group who enjoy a little challenge, so I decided to bring up a scavenger hunt (as far as I recall we haven't had one in the group, right? Correct me, if I'm wrong ;)) So, here's the list of things you will go hunting for:

  • Something soft
  • Something edible
  • Something typical for your country
  • Something made of paper
  • Something you like very much or collect

You will also add one postcard you think your partner might like - it can be blank or written on, maybe check with your partner first. Please add a little note to the parcel as well - there's nothing sadder than a swap without a personal note. Write a few sentences about the items you chose or anything else you would like to tell your partner. But don't just stuff things into an envelope. ;) A few words to the swap items themselves: The value of each should be aroud 2 €/3 Dollars, so please, don't just send an envelope as "Something made of paper". Also, try to make the things varied. Of course, something typical from your country might be something edible, but that would be a bit boring, right? Try to be creative! Something edible can also be drinks, but again: 2 teabags wouldn't be worth 2 €, agreed? ;) Quality handmade things are very welcome! If you're good at something and can make it within the value range, feel free to share it! It's no requirement, though. As you should in all swaps, please take your partner's profile into consideration.Of course, the item you like/collect is sender's choice, but everything else should be suited to your partner's taste.

To sum it up: You will send the 5 items required by the scavenger hunt plus one postcard and a little note.

Now, happy hunting and scavenging. ;)

PS: As long as we haven't got a strict rule on who is allowed in the group I will still go through profiles and ban suspicious looking people although this is a group swap.

Maybe some people will join on the second attempt? That would be awesome! :)

What is WIYM means?

Yay, I'm so happy there's a few in the swap already! I'm looking forward to this, guys! :)

WIYM just stands for our group name: "What's In Your Mailbox", so it's obvious, that it's a group swap. :)
