Description:

I'm sure there are many swappers here who study French as their second language. I do and and sometimes I find it hard to struggle through textbook articles. I think that some new, interesting topics would spice up my learning and motivate me to read more. Do you feel the same way? Veuillez entrer!

Instructions:

In this swap, you will send 3 articles/exercises in French that are interesting for you and you feel they might be interested for someone else as well.

The articles can be clipped from a newspaper/magazine, printed out (don't forget to cite the source) of photocopied from a book (cite again, please).

Include a letter in French, telling a bit about yourself, about your French learning and about the articles you are sending.

If you feel especially crafty, you can embellish the letter and envelope in French style - but it is not required!

In the comments below, you can state your level of French so your partners know they shouldn't send you a financial article from Figaro if you're A1 or a beginner's graded reader if you're C1.

Rating requirements:

Newbies welcome with well-filled profiles. Absolutely no 1s or unexplained 3s in the last 6 months. I reserve the right to ban any questionable swappers.

Bonne chance!

very nice idea...

I'm a high level French speaker, and I'm also a French teacher!

My active and passive knowledge of French are very different - I can read and understand French quite well, but my oral and written production somehow lags behind. So I would say I'm somewhere between A2-B1, for reading texts maybe B2.

Hello everyone! My French is a bit rusty, so I'm excited about this swap! Officially, my level is B1, but my last French lesson was two years ago in school. ;) Anyhow, I do understand everything I read, you'd just have to forgive me for some crude or just wrong constructions in my writing. :D

I'm a fluent French speaker, I majored in French linguistics in college. Your most advanced French articles would be greatly appreciated, pretty please.

I am French, so I think my level is very good ;-p
