Description:

February is Heart Health Month hosted by the American Heart Association. This is the one charity I donate to every year! This is very important to me having a son born with congenital heart defects and a husband passing of the same thing and heart failure.

For this swap we will make 1 skinny card for 1 partner. Any artistic medium but your card must have a heart on it!

Anatomical **or Valentine style is up to the sender!**

A skinny card is 3x5" and somewhat sturdy. No sticker slapping and make a nice well made card your partner will enjoy!

More: Not a requirement BUT......Every year in the U.S. at Stater Bros Grocery stores they sell paper hearts for $1 and $5. I always try to buy more than the previous year. here: I copied and pasted!

*The American Heart & Stroke Association

This February, Stater Bros. Charities will continue to celebrate a 12-year partnership with the American Heart & Stroke Association by conducting the Stater Bros. Charities “Have A Heart, Save A Heart” mobile campaign in honor of National Heart Month. This campaign has raised over $3.4 million to date.

$1 and $5 paper hearts will be sold at each checkstand where customers are welcome to write a loved one’s name on the heart for display inside the store. In addition, customers will be given a detachable bookmark to take home for each paper heart sold. For each $5 paper heart sold, customers will be given a "Red Dress" pin compliments of the American Heart & Stroke Association.

Funds raised from this campaign will go directly to local research projects and programs that will educate Southern California residents about the risks of heart disease and stroke. To learn more, visit the American Heart Association's website.*
