Description:

You'll have one partner and one month to send this swap -- signup closes January 25, with swap to be sent by February 28.

You'll send one envelope to your partner -- with a letter and any other items that you can send to keep the letter to one ounce. If you write a long, multi-page letter, perhaps that'll be all you send. With shorter letters, suggested items are: photos, short (lightweight, lol) newspaper or magazine articles, stickers, postcards, drawings, etc. If you do go over one ounce, that's okay, just be sure to put extra postage on it as needed. One ounce is the minimum and contents sent are sender's choice.

PLEASE NOTE -- There are two versions of this swap -- THIS ONE IS THE U.S. & TERRITORIES ONLY version.

Postage cost for this swap = a one ounce letter -- 45 cents if mailed before January 27, after January 27 cost is 46 cents. If you have FOREVER stamps, no additional postage is necessary, regardless of when mailed.

If you are an international member of this group, please join the international version of this swap -- identical in all respects, except that you will get a partner that may be from a different country.

NOTE -- If you are a member of this group in USA, you can also join the international version of this swap.

Please post any questions you may have about this swap -- Happy Swapping and let's get those mailboxes filled!

This may be the last swap you can send before the postage rates go up in US -- partners will be assigned right away, in case you want to mail your swap on Jan 26 before rise in rates

Can letters be typed? My time is crunched and I have time to type out a letter as opposed to sitting down and writing long hand. Please let me know. Thanks Kaye

Host reply to @earthnk -- Swap just says it includes a LETTER -- so even if you hold a monkey's paw to write/type/peck out your note, it's still a letter ... pretty thoughtful that you asked, too!

Howdja know I wrote monkey paw. :-)

Well @earthnk we've seen your work! -- Nah just kidding
