With permission from @juliajae I'm going to continue her excellent series of City tags. I'm going to keep her list of cities, and add my own to them as well. Let's make a tag book of world cities, one city at a time. 1 tag for 1 partner This is the eight (8th) in a world cities series. This swap will be for Tokyo, Japan. Chunky, danglies, stuff sticking off the sides is AWESOME! Tags don't have to be stuck in anything - I hang them free from a binder ring - so embellish to your heart's content. That's the fun of making these! Details: •Standard, easy to find size of a #5 tag (measures 4 3/4" x 2 3/8" or 12 x 6 cm); buy them at any office supply store (cheap!) or make them yourself, but make sure they are at least manila folder weight. •Check to make sure you are using the right size, and that there is a hole in top to fit on our rings. •The top corners are tabbed. •Decorate BOTH sides - of course, the front will be the main focus, but the back should have some corresponding decorating on it - plus the regular type of identification (just smaller). •Put at least 3 types of ribbon, string, or other "pretty" through the hole. •Give hearts for the WOW factor. Extra's NOT necessary. Picture is the one I made for the Mexico swap. |
