I had so much fun with my fall scraps cards, that I thought a Christmas one would be fun too. Thus, get out your Christmas colored scraps and punch or cut shapes and arrange/adhere them to blank cards in any pattern you want. The main thing is we are using Christmas colors. You will have 2 partners so you will need to make 2 cards (one for each partner). Write a note to each partner inside your cards. Use a few scraps to decorate your envelope too Γ’β¬β they don't have to cover the whole envelope. (One idea is to cut strips (or shapes) to form an address box). Easy, inexpensive, & fun - - a great way to make art with our scraps that we can't bear to throw away LOL! Adhesive tip for scraps on envelopes: If you use a good quality glue stick (not from the dollar stores) and make sure to put glue on the entire back-side of your scraps, you should be fine. You could always use double-sided tape on your scraps, or after gluing, cover the envelope with clear packing tape. But I've done this and so far my glue has held. |
