Make your partner an origami star! It can be made from a single sheet of paper, or modular (made from multiple sheets, folded into like units and joined together) but it must have FIVE OR MORE POINTS. +++There are lots of origami videos on YouTube, or origami websites, to show you how to make a wide variety of stars. There are diagrams and instructions on line, too. Or check for origami books at your public library or local bookstore!+++ Your model should be held together by design, without glue, tape, staples, etc. No cutting should be involved, except to cut your paper into a beginning shape (if required ) before you start the folding process. You may use origami paper, or some other nice paper. (No candy wrappers, construction paper, or notebook paper.) Holiday-themed paper is optional. For size, let's say the finsihed project should be between 3 and 7 inches. +++Origami paper is relatively inexpensive. Lightweight scrapbook paper works, as does good quality wrapping paper. Cutting larger paper down to a workable size can be a challenge though.+++ Work to the best of your abilities, and send a neatly folded project that you would like to receive. |
