International Just for Fun Journal

Let's create a Just for Fun Journal for our partners.

Here's how it will work:

When you sign up:

Please make sure your profile is a detailed one that lists your likes (and dislikes if you want). I will contact you if your profile needs to be expanded. .

Then:

• Get a composition book - the type that Wal-Mart sells for about a dollar. Tie a ribbon or something similar around the middle of the book in three spots or more to reinforce the binding. Before you send it to your partner, decorate the cover to reflect your partner's interests.

• Study your partner's profile. You will create at least 30 pages (page = one sheet of paper) of fun. You can art journal, smash/junk, write or whatever you want. The purpose is to have fun creating a journal for your partner with techniques that you enjoy. Please use more than one technique. You can be as creative as you like, but it is the sender’s choice. For example, I will be smashing/junking and writing, so the person who gets my journal won’t receive anything that could be termed “art journaling.”

• If you want to add holiday entries, please check with your partner to see if it’s okay with them.

• Only ten of the pages may contain printouts from the internet.

• Please attach items to one side of the page only. You may, however, write on both sides of the page if you’d like.

• Please date each entry.

• This swap should cost very little. Keep your eyes open for bits and pieces you can use.
