Description:

If you want to add stamps to your stamp collections, this is the swap for you. We are swapping 15 different used postage stamps which were issued in year 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012.

The stamps should only be issued in these years, so no old stamps issued in previous years. In most cases the year of issue of a stamp can be found on a stamp, written in small letters. Please no definitive stamps, we are talking about the small edition of stamps; eg. commemorative or special stamps. These stamps can be either on or off paper. This swap is Senders choice, but it would be nice if you take some time to read your swappartner profile.

So only used postage stamps issued in year 2009 to 2012. No duplicates! Please send your stamps in good condition, no damaged, torn or sticky stamps.

Please only sign up if you can meet the requirements of this swap.

No 1s or unexplained/recent 3s. I will remove questionable swappers. If you have any questions, please leave a comment here or PM me.

Hello, not sure what you mean by definitive stamps. I have a lot of first day covers which I am willing to swap.

knitchic54: Definitives are stamps that are issued for long periods of time, while commemorative stamps usually commemorate an event or person (or subject) and are available for a limited time.

For what it's worth, not all countries put the years on stamps. It's only a newer practice, unless it's a stamp commemorating an anniversary.

Thank you Digitalmaven for answering the question of knitchic54.

Indeed not all countries put the date of issue on a stamp, but the year issue can be found in this catalogue:
