Description:

Let's have some fun doing a silly craft we loved as kids. Popsicle stick sculpture, gluing macaroni to paper plates, making turkeys by tracing your hand.

Anything you remember doing as a kid is acceptable.

Or, anything you find in the kids aisle at the craft store these days that makes you say, "hey, I wish I had some kids (or was a kid), so I could do that".

We're talking googly eyes, pom poms, those little foam shapes. Construction paper, crayons, elmer's glue.

The ONLY goal of this swap is to have fun!!!

1 partner each, send them your choice of completed craft project worthy of hanging up on their fridge. If you have left over supplies, feel free to include them so they can try it too!

International, since these can be really light. I'll leave 3 weeks between assigning partners, so if you get an international partner, you'll have time to pick a light-weight craft.

Since this is a really low requirement swap, there really shouldn't be anyone getting 3s, unless they send very late. Any effort fulfills the swap requirements - it should look like a kid made it!

My commitment to swappers as a host:

  • I will answer any and all pms in a timely manner. Ask me any questions.

  • I will follow up with anyone who reports a cranky partner, and help mediate disputes.

  • I will make sure anyone who doesn't receive finds an angel.

  • I will make sure anyone who flakes is posted to the flakers lists in the forums.

As always, I reserve the right to ban anyone I don't feel comfortable with. I'm not setting any requirements - it's just at my discretion. If you have a unique situation that you think needs explaining, just drop me a pm.

Any and all newbies are welcome, just make sure you have a filled out profile!

Omg a swap my daughter can "really" help me with ^-^ She'll feel so important. We make crafts ( kid ones ) all the time. I can't tell you how many coffee filter butter flies hang from her window. ( she loves making those )

This looks like such fun! I am not a newbie. Can I still join?

Contadine 02/26/2008 #

Everyone can join - newbies & not!

What if my craft can't be hung on a fridge? is that ok?

luxygrl83 03/10/2008 #

I'm sorry I'm gonna have to drop from the swap New Job so less time to play =(

Contadine 03/10/2008 #

Yes, non-fridge hanging is fine. :-)

Crafty Dez.... I didn't eat it, but I loved to let Elmer's glue dry all over my fingers and then peel it off. I used to apply the glue right before church so I could be occupied a while peeling it off during the boring parts :-)
