Every year since 1977 International Museum Day is organized worldwide around May 18. This day is an occasion to raise awareness on how important museums are in the development of society. Send one store (musem-) bought postcard showing inside or outside view of any museum. Write something about this museum or about your experience with museums. Any group swap, including this one, will be canceled if at least 5 people don't join.

@Snoskimouse Hmm, I think it's ok if it not commercial galleries but old and famous ones.

When you say commercial gallery do you mean one set up just to display and sell art? I'm only asking cause on a recent visit to my favourite local museum I see they've stopped selling postcards!! :O But there is a lot of local Art galleries. :)

@Snoskimouse Exactly. F.e. we have few old galleries which may be were commercial ones many years ago but now they are museum-type art galleries named after their owners.
