Description:

I'd like to create a whole deck of different cards (52!) - what fun! Last June, I started this swap and loved what I got. It was pot luck and random, with the chance to get doubles, but that's part of the fun.

So here's what you do. Find a deck of cards that is missing a few cards, or purchase a cool deck from a special place in your locale. Let's keep them standard size, not tiny or huge (around 2.5 X 3.5). And interesting, too. Then send TWO of those cards to five different partners. Make sure they're two DIFFERENT cards with TWO different designs. That way we can make up our own decks more quickly.

If this is at all popular we can change the rules as our decks become more complete, but let's start with no other rules. You might like to include a short note of hello, maybe on the back of your envelope, but that's not necessary, either.

I'll angel any flakers, but THERE WON'T BE ANY FLAKERS, right?

Just to make sure I have this right. You buy 2 different deck of cards and you send your 5 partners 2 cards each one from each deck. How will you get a full deck of cards if it is senders choice as to which cards to send?

So far it's been pot luck. I've only had one duplicate. I plan to do this for a few more times, then be more specific about what cards we need to fill up our decks. Also, there's no a few of us that are collecting, and we could set up some kind of swap within a swap. Endless ideas. But the pot luck's been really fun so far. (And I sent out more than two cards last time, as did others, so that's an extra treat/surprise!)

Did I send these already? Got them ready & can't find them, so I'm hoping I mailed them out let me know
