Description:

Hello,

This is my my second time hosting this swap. Since I had several requests to do it again. Here is the second round.

Ever tried Blackout Poetry?

I got this idea from author Sara Addison Allen's facebook page. She used a page out of her book The Sugar Queen to make a blackout poem.

For this swap, you will photocopy a page from your favorite book, then blackout all but a few words. There's a poem hidden inside. Sounds pretty easy, doesn't it? Let's see what kinds of neat poetry we can come up with.

You will have 2 partners and will send a photocopied blackout poem to each of them. You can decorate it if you wish, but it is not a requirement. Use your imagination!

You can add a little extra surprise in the envelope if you wish but it is not a requirement.

-You need to have a rating of 4.8 or above to participate in this swap.

-If you have unexplained 1s or 3s on you profile, please PM me if you feel like you should be allowed to join.

  • Please do not flake on this swap. It is a fairly easy one to do so there shouldn't be any flakers.

-I will angel if I need to but I am hoping everyone will carry through.

I also have a USA ONLY version of this swap.

Sounds fun! I will be looking through my books today to see if I will be able to pull it off!!

This looks like a lot of fun, I am very excited.

Is the photocopy a requirement, or just a "minimum"? In other words, I just received some book pages from someone to use in crafting and I made blackout poems on that (great fun btw!) - would that be acceptable to send or must it be an actual photocopy?

Sorry for asking at the last minute lol. I will join anyway as I can participate either way round, but I'd like to know if I can use the poems that I made on real book pages or not. :)
