Description:

Okay, I am hooked on fiction writing with a twist. This will be a short story and not a letter. Every month we will have a different sceanaro that we will write about. I hope to see most of the people writing signing up each month.

This month will be an appocalyptic letter where over 3/4 of the world's population has died. This will be about what the disaster was, how you survived, have you found other survivors, do you stay where you are or are you traveling around to find other survivors, and how are you traveling if you are?

Let's have fun with this swap. You will need to send 5 pages (more if you want). The paper that you use can be the letter writing size that you can buy at the dollar store. Please do not tear out journal or composition pages. If you do then please make them neat and tidy by trimming up the edges. Can be written on the computer or by hand. I am keeping a journal of all the short stories and letters that I am writtin and keeping the ones that I recieve. Next month we will have a new scenaro. Since this is just writing I am making this international.

Please Note: If you write fewer than 5 pages you can and should be rated a 3 for not following swap guidelines. I also want you to know that if you write large just to fill up the pages quicker you can and should be rated a 3. This is a time intense swap and we really want to read your great stories. You may not rate down if you do not agree with the content and how it is written.

No 1s in the last 3 months. Newbies are welcomed with a nicely done profile. I will be checking all pofiles. I will angel if necessary, but it better not be necessary!! If you flake on any of my swaps you are permently banned from any of my future swaps.

Let's all have fun!!!

No suggested length? With all your suggestions about the disaster after effects, it seems to me it needs to be maybe 3 to 5 pages just to get the interesting stuff covered. In writing swaps I've sometimes beea bit miffed at working on 5 or 6 pages and receiving one barey thoughtt out page from someone.

I know exactly what you mean @junemoon It is very disappointing. But if you read the swap requirements then you will see that you have to write at least 5 pages. You can do more if you want. I am sure we will see more from alot of people. The pages have to be at least letter pad writing size and not smaller. Please feel safe in joining my swap and rating anyone that sends less then 5 pages a 3 for not following swap guidelines.

So wait are we writing a short story or are we writing a letter from our ficticious scenario.

Tessalou, since you are the host of this swap, I think it is important that you let people joining the swap understand that if they have not rated from the previous swap, they have not completed their commitment. I see that my partner has joined this swap, I hope you will let her know that there is a responsibility beyond sending your written piece. I PMed to ask if she had received my mailing but she had not responded. I've just PMed once again.
