Women of History ATC #1 ~ Catherine The Great

I love MadameCupcakes Series, and after thinking I thought what a great thing to combine with a love of history as well. So I will be starting the monthly Historical Women ATC series.

For the Month of December we have Catherine the Great of Russia. She was the most renowned and the longest-ruling female leader of Russia, reigning from 9 July [O.S. 28 June] 1762 after a coup d'état and the assassination of her husband, Peter III (just after the end of the Seven Years' War) until her death on 17 November [O.S. 6 November] 1796. Catherine's rule re-vitalized Russia, which grew larger and stronger than ever and became recognized as one of the great powers of Europe.

You can interpret the theme , be creative and have fun.

ATCs will be of standard size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) make sure that you use a good backing for your ATC good stiff card stock or something similar. I myself love to re use things like soda boxes.

Make sure you fill out the back, Username Swap date and title. The basics for the back of your ATC so your partner has the information!
