Description:

As our Samhain comes to a close, I can't help but think of our ancestors, so this swap is dedicated to them! )O(

This swap will require you to visit a cemetery of your choice, and do a grave rubbing. For those that are not familiar of what this is, grave rubbing is an art that consists of rubbing or tracing on a tombstone with a piece of chalk (or crayon, pencil, etc) on your choice of paper. Deciding on what tombstone to choose should be profile based. But I will leave the final decision up to the sender. The final project should be no smaller than 5 x 7 (please keep that in mind when you are choosing the tombstone) and can be more than one tracing on one piece of paper. This project should be profile based in some form, but I will leave the final decision to the sender. Different ideas can be framing it, tracing it with different textures or colors or even finding a tombstone with the same last name as your partner! The information you trace should be legible, so if you must take a couple of pieces of paper for "practice" lol please remember to do so ;) Remember to of course respect others in the cemetery (living or passed) as not everyone grieves the same way. Some cemeteries are private property, so make sure you get permission if necessary. if you need more detail to grave rubbing, please check out this link:

Please feel free to email me as well with any questions, and happy rubbing! :D
