Response: You're very much welcome! The billion dollar bunny money was my favorite, as well. Whenever I found it, I had to purchase one for myself, too - it was much too adorable!
Response: You're most welcome, Joan! I had a lot of fun browsing around and shopping for yellow goodies for you. Because I'm so OCD, colour swaps usually end up being my personal favorite because I'm able to find everything in one colour... and nothing makes me happier than having everything match, haha.
Response: I'm so happy to hear that you've enjoyed my cinnamon pecans yet again! Remember, if you ever wish for me to bake anymore for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I really enjoy whipping them up for you!
Response: Aw, Sarah - you're most welcome! If it weren't for you, I probably never would have gotten Strider brought to life on the scale that you did. As I've said before, I can never thank you enough for what you did for me. He shall grace the walls of my household for years and years to come.
However, I'm ecstatic to know that I was able to make you as happy as you made me. Being that I live in such a large city, we have quite the amount of kawaii merchandise around here. While it probably was unnecessary for me to include the Sanrio bag, I felt it was far too cute to just throw away.
While I do have a lot of favorites when it comes to Japanese candy, I just had to include those for you. I go on a lot of walks and tend to have either one of those (especially the vegetable chips) within my purse for when I start to get hungry. They not only work wonders, but are also healthy!
Response: Being that you were so kind to fetch the Starbucks goodies that I'm unable to get myself, I just had to make your package extra special. You desired tea, so I wished to give you as much of a variety as physically possible. Here in Oregon, we have a bulk tea store which is where I got most of them. The Christmas teas, however, were from this gift set I received for Christmas. It was a box of one hundred packets, so I have more than enough of those on hand to send to swappers who may wish to try a different flavor of tea.
As for the tea candies, I got them from a Japanese store here called "Uwajimaya". I get those candies for my childhood friend and mail them to his household all the time since he's such a tea lover. Each time I get a bag for him, I get a second bag for myself to where I can send tea lovers on Swap-Bot a sample. You're not the only one who's head over hills for them, I assure you. I'm so glad that you liked everything, though. I give you my deepest thanks for everything you got for me, as well.
Response: I really wanted to give you a variety of coffee that you couldn't get just anywhere - which is why I was so relieved that I tend to keep such items stocked up within my household at all times. Then again, I drink a lot of coffee in a lot of varieties, so I guess I shouldn't of been too surprised by the amount I had left available. As for the extras, I thought it'd be nice for you to have something to go along with your coffee. I can't count how many times I've done arts and crafts with a mug filled with coffee beside me - and I find it to be extremely calming and relaxing when I do so. Here's hoping it can have the same affect on you. You're most welcome for everything!
Response: You know, as soon as I read that your favorite colours were earthy tones, I knew I was going to have a blast shopping for you. It wasn't as simple as "blue" or "pink" - it was a challenge... and I love challenges. Whenever I had set all your items out to package up, I saw how well everything matched with one another and I was extremely pleased and satisfied with myself. It was a package I was very proud of and I'm so happy to hear that it brightened up your day and made you smile.
Response: I really appreciate both the rating and heart. Thank you so much!
Response: I know, right? I truly wonder if all the other Harajuku Lovers perfume smells as wonderful as the one I already own. I guess I'll have to check them out as soon as possible to know!
Response: You're welcome, Viv1972. Thank you for both the rating and heart!
Response: Here's hoping that the tea I sent to you tasted as good as it smelled, haha. You're most welcome for the extras, Leashah! In return, I give you my deepest thanks for both the rating and heart.
Response: You know, at first, I was extremely worried thinking you would have already owned the shirt. I was actually tempted to purchase a completely different shirt to add to the package just in case you did. Fortunately, you didn't, so you have no idea how accomplished I felt upon receiving your rating. The fact that I brightened your day so much had made me speechless. You're most welcome for everything, CajunLady!
Response: You're most welcome for the package. You know, I really enjoy scavenger hunt swaps because they can be quite the challenge sometimes. If it weren't for my brother, I probably never would've found something for the letter "O" because I was completely stumped on that one for awhile. In all honesty, if my brother wasn't so hooked to video games, I'd definitely introduce him to Swap-Bot. Alas, he just loves those video games of his way too much, haha.
Response: I just had to make your package as special as possible, Pamela. I really wanted to add some sort of dinosaur item within your package and when I stumbled upon those oh so adorable plushies - I just had to get them for you. I'm so happy to know that they made you smile.
Response: You're most welcome for the extras. In return, I give you my deepest thanks for both the rating and heart!
Response: Thank you for a great swap, as well. As I'm sure you already know, Nathan was and still is head over hills for the Shaun of the Dead shirt. He actually wore it again for the hundredth time last night, haha.
Response: There's no need to thank me for the figurines. If anything, I should be thanking you for giving them a new and happy home to live in.
Response: You're most welcome, Ladytrancevision. I'm glad to hear that you not only loved, but also enjoyed everything!
Response: Really? My package arrived on your mother's birthday? Well, that's just delightful! Here's hoping that, despite the fact that probably nothing of use to her was in the package, brightened her birthday at least a little bit. Oh, and it's nice to hear that there's another Grocery Outlet lover out there in the world. I, personally, could never grow tired of it and I tend to go there as much as physically possible, haha.
Response: I'm happy to hear that the coffee I had chosen for you is of a variety that you enjoy. Being that I've never had the coffee myself, I'm unsure of how bold it was. All I know is that it did smell delightful and I was extremely tempted to purchase my own bag shortly after.
Response: I'm very relieved and happy to hear that you loved everything. Being that your likes are very similar to my own, it was not only extremely easy, but also a ton of fun to shop for you.
The "melty" candy you spoke of is a Japanese candy called Melty Kiss. It does come in a different variety of flavors, but the one I had given you a sample of is my personal favorite.
Using the bag I purchased for you as a bento bag is a fantastic idea. Had I seen more than one, I have no doubt within my mind that I would've purchased one for myself, as well, and used it for the same thing. Oh, how I love making bento lunches.
Unfortunately, I have no idea who was on the front. I'm well aware that it was Korean, but I'm more familiar with Japanese. If I had to make a guess, I'd say a Korean version of High School Musical. Alas, that's just me.
Oh, and I'm so glad to hear that you loved the single serving of marmalade. I love individual servings like that, so I keep them stocked up at all times!
Response: Oh, it was no problem at all. I'm actually surprised at how very little people have heard of Honibe, but I hope that you enjoyed them (if you've tried them yet, that is). The stationery I wrote on is pretty old, but gorgeous nonetheless. It's nice to know that it didn't go unnoticed!
Response: It was no problem at all. You're most welcome!
Response: Aw, you're most welcome for everything. I always try my best to brighten someone's day and make them smile. It's a huge relief to know that I succeeded!
Response: Well, it's just my luck that I ended up choosing a tea that's one of your favorites! You're extremely welcome.
Response: I'm so happy to hear that you loved everything, including the geisha. However, I'm extremely embarrassed about the candy. I know that it's hot chocolate flavored, but I apparently wrote something different in my note - that's what I get for writing letters whilst I'm tired. I'm curious to know what flavor I said it was, haha.
Response: Wow, Shiho - my package arrived there far more quickly than I thought it would. Not to mention, it arrived there right before your mother's birthday... that fact alone has made me extremely happy! Since it's now past her birthday, I really hope that she enjoyed the vanilla chocolate and birthday card. I really wanted to brighten your mother's day and I hope that I've succeeded.
As for the Starbucks coffee... I figured you could never have enough of that! Besides, if I recall, you told me that you live farther from Starbucks nowadays. Since I live so close to, well, Lord knows how many - I figured I might as well give you some with every package!
Yeah, I found the grapefruit tea to be extremely interesting... especially since I haven't even seen it until recently. If you really like it, please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll be sure to get you some more.
All in all, it's so wonderful to know that you loved everything and that I've brightened your day. I really can't wait for our next swap!
Response: This has to be one of the first ratings I've received that made me laugh pretty hard. There are things that I receive that put me into a giggle fit and also have my beloved looking at me like I'm insane... perhaps it's the similarity in the situation that I found so funny. Either way, it's nice to know that you loved all the buttons. I hope you didn't mind that I packaged them up by colour... I'm kind of a neat freak like that, haha.
Response: Hey, it was no problem at all. I really hope that, when the time comes, the gift card will be of very good use - the same goes for the felt. I recall you saying you wanted bright and vibrant colours, so that's what I went for. It's always nice to know when I've succeeded!
Response: Aw, it was no problem at all. I really wanted to help in such a creative present for your loved one and I'm real glad to have been of help. I saw the photographs you took of him on his birthday and he seemed to really love them all - how nice those were to see!
As for the drink mixes - think nothing of it. Those little packets are so useful it's insane. I figured, since you seemed to love them just as much as I do, that I could give you a few. I hope you enjoyed them!
Response: I've yet to have a package of mine called "fab" and I must say that I really enjoy that term. Thank -you- for commenting on my package as such.
Also, it's nice to hear that you enjoyed the fabric I picked out for you. I know a place that has bright and funky fabric that I knew would scream your name.
As for the buttons, even though the swap said to only send ten, it seemed so little... I just had to give you ten more!
Response: It was no problem at all. I wanted to make sure I not only made yourself happy, but also your kitties! Besides, we all know that they have feelings too.
Response: It's such a relief to hear that you loved what I sent to you. I tried to get you something that would not only be useful, but also feature something you like. It's always wonderful to know that I've succeeded. You're most welcome!
Response: Aw? It was no problem at all. As long as I made your day and made you smile - it was definitely worth it.
Response: I always try my best to brighten one's day and make them smile. It's always nice to know when I've succeeded in doing so. Just so you know, your compliments have made my day just as bright!
Response: Aw? It's wonderful to hear that you not only loved the stories, but also the photographs. With my photography, along with everything else that I do, I always try my best and it's always wonderful to know when I've succeeded. And, of course... I wish that everyone could own one of those adorable keychains.
Response: My deepest thanks for the compliments on my photography and whatnot. It's very much appreciated and your words have brightened my day. Here's hoping that I did the same for you in return!
Response: That's wonderful to hear! I hope that you not only enjoy the candies, but also find a use for the stickers.
Response: Aw? You're most welcome! Also, it's so wonderful to hear that you loved the package I made for you. No matter what the swap, I always have to send extras. I'm sure that, once the flowers are planted and grown, they'll love their environment.
Response: Aw, you're welcome! While I live in Dayton and not Newport, I was so fond of the colourful image on the front that I just had to go with that one.
Response: As soon as I read that you liked Hello Kitty, I knew exactly where to go for your gum. While they did have more gum featuring Hello Kitty herself, I wanted to give you three packs of gum - all with a different Sanrio character. While the packaging is extremely adorable, I loved the smell of the gum more. That gum has got to be the most fragrant I ever did smell - especially the peach and cola. I'm going to have to purchase some for myself soon and give it a try, haha.
Response: Like I said in the note I wrote to you, I was amazed at how difficult it was to find apple themed items - especially since I'm so used to seeing that type of stuff everywhere. I guess it's a lot easier when you're not looking for it in particular, haha. Still, it's a relief to know that I didn't fail and that you loved everything. Whenever you give the apple jelly a try, please do let me know what you thought of it!
Response: I'm so glad to hear that you loved everything, Shiho. I wanted to make sure to make your package as special and wonderful as possible and it's nice to hear that I didn't fail. I actually started shopping for our second swap on Monday and am very pleased with everything I've found so far - here's hoping that you'll be just as pleased!
Response: I'm so relieved to hear that you liked everything. While I did have a ton of fun shopping and hunting for you, I kept worrying that there would've been something you disliked. It's a good thing I write everyone's wishlist and likes down before doing my shopping, haha.
Before I even went shopping with my beloved, I already knew what I wanted to look for with the letter "I" and that was an Iris. Alas, no matter how well I described to my beloved what an Iris is, he kept getting confused and bringing me items with the wrong flower. Whenever I finally (and thankfully) found something with an Iris, I immediately brought it and showed it to him. What did he have to say? "Oh, yeah - I know that flower!". At least he tried, haha.
Response: You've never tried it before, huh? Well, I'm just going to have to rub that little piece of information into my beloved's face, haha. The entire time I was shopping for your chocolate, he kept saying that you've probably already tried it. You will not believe how many stores I went to because he kept assuming I was picking and/or getting something that you either already tried or already have in your country. While Hershey's is well known, I kept thinking that you never had it before and it's a relief to know I was right, haha. I'm hoping that they reached you without getting broken (or at least not badly broken) during transit. That's why I put the chocolate bars on top of a piece of cardboard - to assure their safety. Here's hoping it helped!
Response: I'm so relieved to hear that you enjoyed everything. I wanted to make extra sure that I'd be able to make your day and have a smile brought upon your face. I have to admit that my favorite part was shopping for the buttons. We have a store over here that has tons of buttons within a barrel and you just dig. Whenever you find buttons you're interested in, you place them into a cup and they charge you that way. It took me awhile, but I could never grow tired of it. I'm always finding reasons to go dig into that barrel, haha. I was pretty concerned about the retro flower button, though. Instead of it being "pinned" onto a piece of cardboard like pins are usually sold, this one was attached to the cardboard by a sticky surface. I removed the cardboard because it refused to fit into the egg with it, but I tried everything I could in order to get the sticky residue off the back and failed miserably. I'm hoping that you'll find a solution better than I did, haha. All in all, I had a ton of fun not only shopping, but also getting the Easter egg together for you. I'm very glad that I was successful in making you happy and brightening your day.
Response: Hey, it was no problem at all. I really enjoyed doing it!
Response: I'm so relieved to hear that your fiance loves them. I made sure to make them extra special for him! Were you able to find the ring I made for you along with the hamster eraser? I kept pondering if putting them in the same box as the pecans would be alright or not, but I went ahead and put them in a little lace-like pouch to where someone would hopefully be able to see them.
Response: It's such a relief to know that you loved everything. After putting everything in the envelope, I read that you also loved ladybugs, so I decided to stick some ladybug stickers onto the envelope since there was nothing ladybug themed inside.
Bringing a smile to your face is exactly what I wanted done, so it's wonderful to hear that I was successful in doing so. I hope that the rest of your day has been filled with just as much happiness!
