Comment: Rachel, I got your packet today, and although it was about a week late, I am still rating you a 5 because it was WONDERFUL. I loved the mailer thingy you sent it in and I noticed that it can be cut and the inside used again for another great mailer of my own...or as collage elements too. :) The "Adventures in Indoor Gardening" zine was soooo good. It has inspired me (no, not to try indoor gardening, silly!) to make zines in a similar, freer style, like yours. I loved the info, but do my gardening outside due to our climate differences. BIG difference between OR and far south TX. Your zine is amazing in how much fun and info and very cool illustrations are stuffed inside of it. I LOVE it! Thanks also for the "DIY Madness" zine. I love the article, "How to Convince your Mother... Sherlock Holmes". ROFLOL! Thanks also for the artsy postcard with your note.
Comment: Show & Tell's been on my zine wishlist for a long time, so it was a surprise to get this in the mail! Super fantastic, & really intense. I'm definitely going to pick up more issues! Thanks <3
Comment: wowowow, what an incredibly beautiful package of creativity and giggles and thought provoking ramblings....thanks so much it made my day...Mine is in the post, I hope you like it X
Comment: Love your zine... lots of variety. A great read!...... You should have mine by now... I just finished two more, one about dreams and the other about a ghost. Never sure what to send people. Some get offended easily. Hugs..
Comment: Hearts, hearts and more hearts! I just LOVE your zine! Your illustrations are so well done, the content is interesting and the whole thing is visually appealing. The handmade envie really brightened up my mailbox and the pic of sawyer on the back nearly made me wet myself laughing. Thankyou for brightening up my day :)
Comment: Thank you so much for those wonderful zines. I think it's awesome you do this with your students. Please tell them thank you for the awesome zines! :D
Comment: AAH! This is so awesome! I love all the zines you sent (please thank your students for me!) And I can't wait to see the hometown zones! Thank you soooo much!!!
Comment: Loved your drawings. I'm jealous of anyone who can draw. As a long-time fan of People mag, I appreciated your celebrity topic! I'm adding a heart for your hand-made/re-used-paper envie.
Comment: Wow! What a hilarious zine! I absolutely loved it!!!! Your drawings are great. Mine aren't all that interesting compared to yours, but would you be willing to swap 1 or 2 of mine for yours? Thanks!
Comment: Great list! I want to work on a farm through WWOOF too (although I forgot to put it on my list). Also, my grandparents lived in Prineville, so I used to visit Bend all the time. Small world :)
Comment: You're gonna have an awesome life if you accomplish all of that. :--) I like how specific some of them are, and a few are more vague. You must have a put a lot of thought into this. And the presentation gives you a heart.
Comment: what a wonderful letter i received from you! the doodling was super cute and your stories were great...and what a unique envelope idea as well!!! i would love to see one of your 'zines! thanks for putting a smile on my face today! Γ’β’Β₯
Comment: Hey thanks for the cool zine. I really liked the envelope and the intimate handwashing made me giggle. Also props on the extra cool work that went into it.
Comment: I really enjoyed your zine - I've done a bit of writing about my family lately too, and it's lovely to see how someone else goes about it. Thanks!
Comment: I loved the creative envelope (and how it hearkens to my own reusing sensibilities) and the interesting zine. Thank you for sharing!
Also, Bend is awesome...I passed through on my cross-country drive to Eugene =) The whole place smelled wonderful!
Comment: Fantastic zines, Rachel - thank you so much! :-) I can't wait to have time to read through them all properly. I feel as though I got the better end of this swap - if you would like any extra of mine in addition to those already sent, please just let me know!
